Bondeni Primary School Rain Water Collection System
Well Aware, The Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club, and The Nobelity Project have changed this school and community for generations to come. With clean water, additional updated classrooms, additional teachers and access to electricity, these children now have a significantly brighter, better future! They will also have fewer illnesses, fewer deaths from contaminated water and better family lives.

The classrooms that were in use at Bondeni Primary School had slat walls and mud floors.  Construction on a new classroom building was half completed by another nonprofit when funds were exhausted.  Their water supply was stagnant and limited, causing illness for the children who consumed it and deterring any additional children from attending this school (the only one in the area).

The Nobelity Project's Kenya Schools Fund stepped in and completed the building so that many more children can attend Bondeni and more teachers will be approved to be staff.  Well Aware supplied rain water system that holds 15,000 liters of UV-purified water for the school year-round.  This area receives sufficient rainfall to provide enough clean drinking water with this system to many more students, the staff and the community.
