Water well in previously desperate community of approximately 6,000 people.
Well Aware was in Kenya overseeing the borehole drilled in Namanga, Kenya. Completed in August 2010, this borehole was drilled in an area in desperate need for a water source. This water well will also serve as the beginning of a developing community.

Some Immediate Improvements
Water supply: from stagnant collections in distant riverbed to pure water available from 230 meter-deep borehole.
The organization currently overseeing this project has not communicated additional information on this water system. Well Aware is no longer affiliated with this organization, but we will continue to monitor this water well.Namanga Now
