Mithini Water Well
Solar Water Well for Self-Sustaining Childrens' Center and Community Development in Mithini (Ithanga Hills), Kenya.

Well Aware has provided the bore hole for this children's home and self-sustaining orphanage and agriculture, as well as the thousands of other citizens of the community of Mithini in Ithanga Hills, Kenya.

Geoffrey, the project manager, is known throughout the country for his success in self-sustainable living and low-water agriculture in Kenya.  We, and these children, are very fortunate to know him.

We also had the pleasure of meeting volunteers Ian and Helen Thistlewood of the UK on our last trip to Mithini.  In addition to being outstanding and committed volunteers, Ian is also a proficient blogger and captured the need for water there and Well Aware's assistance in a post he submitted here: Maji Imeisha

You can also view a brief tour of the beginnings of the Mithini project, and where the Mithini bore hole will be located below.
